I try to be good. Insurance in Calif. is expensive even with a good driving record. Buuttt, you just can't ignore the call of that horsepower. I find myself getting on it probably more than I should. I've been lucky enogh not to get caught so far (nock on wood). Mine's more of a tire squealing thing than running at high speeds. Don't want to be the guy "slowsvt95" was talking about like the incident with her sister. My brothers a cop too. It's really fun to do a nice smokey when he's behind me in his patrol car. Freaks people out. LOL

I drive my 03L like a old man, but i do get into boost everyday i drive it! I never floor it to the max, and have only been up to 100mph for a very short burst.

I do all city driving, so i dont have a chance to give it WOT , or i would be inside the persons trunk in front of me.

It only has about 1700 miles on it, and i get around 8mpg in the city. After my three year service plan is up , i will mod and drive it a little harder...

WOW.....I didn't know that there were so many of you that drive like me. I was starting to feel like I was abusing my truck with 1-3 wot blasts per day. I am glad I am not the only one who can't resist. After all, these trucks were built to be beaten I guess. After I posted this thread, I left for work and didn't even see 1 psi. On the way home, same thing....no boost at all. I was trying not to beat the truck so hard but from my experience, when a vehicle is driven gently all the time, that vehicle always tends to be slower than a vehicle that has been driven hard. Well I guess it's back to 10 psi on my way to work!

Man, you sure are "slow" ...j/k Well as long as we are asking what does WOW stand for?

On topic ...I see max boost everytime I drive it.... I will not speed where there are side streets thou because there are too many "nuggets" out there that will pull out in front of you...

Speed limit+5 90% of the time. now, I will get to the speed limit pretty quick sometimes but over all I drive my truck pretty easy compared to what I am reading here. My WOT are very few on the street, track only for those. If someone messes with me I will "mess back" . That's only happened a few times.

As a matter of fact my personilized Licenese plate will be ready next month. slo-pok

RED 92 is 110% correct. Every single time I jump on the gas, some moron gets right out in front of me. Now I am not saying that people have no right to pull out in front of me but it's the ones that see you coming up fast, they see that there is no one behind you, and they just pull out anyway only to do 25 mph. People like this outta have their @sses kicked.

I drive pritty mellow around town, on the Highway I get over to the left lane and boggie pritty good. I am not hard on the truck on the street, it is at the track that I really push it.

Thogh once in a while I have to teach some punk a lesson.

I used to abuse it allot but I have been trying to be more responsible in the cold weather. Although I bring it up to 100-130 mph almost everyday on the way to work. I take the Ocean parkway and wantagh in Long Island, in the morning it is dead with no cars with many long azz straight aways. Just driving around town I take it slow, occasionally squell the tires at a light but never over 30-40mph in a residential area.

That's pretty close to the way I drive, although I have floored it several times. I generally find myself going 5-10 MPH over the speed limit -- less over in town; more over in rural areas or on the highway.

I've noticed that some people with 'Vettes, Mustang GTs, Cobras and other performance vehicles often drive like jerks, so I'm rather self-conscious and (usually!) careful not to drive like a jerk when I'm in the L.
