Is it worth it to pay $1500 for

Longtubes with catback (REM)

6lb pully
diablo chip
air filter

This guy is selling all this stuff cause he wrecked his lightning. He wants to sell it as one..I have everything but the longtubes and im not sure if i wanna buy it cause the longtubes might make me loss torque..Right??

Long tubes w/ cats- about $800 used
Chip-$125 used
6 lb pulley-$150 used
Diablo chip (why 2 chips i have no idea) $125 used
Air filter -$99 used

Equals $1300 and I am just averaging prices. Seen cheaper and Higher.

Not a great deal IMO.

However if Vinnine was selling that list to me,
it would be like 2K or something

Don't let him fool ya.

Our POOR Rob has aquired quite a bit of mods on that L of his.

Personally I think he should be running faster or something.

BTW- My buddies call me VINNIE, but you can call me VINNINE?

He posted it was with catback so I think it's a good deal. Neil (Jewishlightning) had that same combo and ran 12.5 at 111 on an '01 in the Florida heat. Good 1 time mod purchase in my book.

It sound's respectable to me as long as the condition of everything is good.

Might wanna try to talk him down a bit.

When I was starting out in life, I was supprised at how many people/places will adjust thier price if you put a little pressure on them. FYI

$1500 is too much. Used exhaust can be a complete nightmare. If you end up buying it be sure the exhaust hasn't been modified. I bought a used long tube setup and got screwed. Previous owner had hacked the mid-pipes in order to remove it. I ended up having to buy new cats and mids to make it work. That was in addition to re-welding the O2 bungs that were totally scewed up due to a poor welding job. Buyer beware. Many parts are fine to buy used, exhaust is not one I will ever buy used again.
