Talking quick ?

Finally got my lower pulley and plugs in. I am going to change them this weekend and get it dyno tuned. What should I gap Tr6's at? Its a 4# BTW. (CAI, Magnaflow Cat back, Chip, are the current mods)

Also, I have never had a car dyno tuned before. Are they able to program the chip while its installed on the truck, or do they have to do a pull, remove and tune, reinstall etc......

I did a search and could not find the link to a site I see referenced some times that has a few good hints, tips to the plug change. Can someone point me in the right direction there.

Merry Christmas to All!!!!!

Thanks
Allyn

p.s. sorry, I have more ?'s than I thought

i have the same mods as you minus the chip, and i gapped my tr6s at .038". They have to pull the chip to re burn it i believe.
The plug change took me about three hours with the help of my g/f (small hands help sometimes). here's a good site to help with the plug change:

Brian-
Have you run your truck yet. What kind of times are you getting if so. I thought it was very unsafe to run a 4# w/o a chip. How long have you been running like this?

I am hoping to be in th 12's with this and if not I will be a little disappointed!!!!

I had plenty of 12's with a simple filter chip n 4lbs
With the RIGHT tune, 12's are no prob with your set up
CONGRATS AND BEST OF LUCK
BTW
I also gap @ .038-.040

Hey Allyn, I'm running a similar set-up.
Except I have Full Bassani exhaust. Mild tune on chip as well.
My times are listed on sig.
New times to come w/ my PSP 4-way. It will be here in a couple of days.

Halo will be at Sealy on 01/02/04 @ 7:00PM
Get your plugs & pulley installed and bring it out to sealy.
I can probably hook you up w/ some torco
