I am seriously considering doing the Apten blower mod, and I have seen the impressive dyno sheet results that have been posted, but I haven't seen any results in the form of E.T. gains. I realize most dragstrips have closed for the season, but there are several still open in the southern U.S. Can anyone who has had their blower ported by Apten please post results in the form of E.T. gains? We know that the true results come in the form of E.T. gains and/or losses. This post is in no way intended to stir up any trouble for Apten, I would just like to see some results from the dragstrip.

I did a few mods at the same time, but went from 12.13@109.72 best to 11.70@115 best with the apten and Same pulleys.

Only changes were removed passenger seat, front sway bar, and I put some "skinnies" on it. 16x7 draglite XPs with 235/60/16s on them. And of course the Apten!

DEFINITELY worthwhile IMHO!

I'm an automotive engineer by trade. And a 30rwhp gain on the same day & within a couple hours tells me more than ETs & speeds. When running at the track there and so many variables that are not measured that it would NOT be a straight fwd comparison.

Don't get me wrong, since none of us has 100% of all the test equipment or perfect conditions to do comparisons with? We have to make our decisions to purchase / not purchase based on partitial info. and sometimes even others *opinions*. So I consider things like Franks 5.5mph increase as a small part or reality check. Not as fact.

The data I've been sitting back and watching for are the discharge temps. Now when someone posts those numbers I'll be much more interested!

BTW: I ordered one. But it's gonna be april til the trucks out again.
