Apten ported Eatons for $440! LIMITED TIME OFFER

Hi guys. IMHO this is the best lightning board around and definately gets the most traffic. However it can pay to keep an eye on the other boards as well.

Apten is offering a LIMITED TIME ONLY deal to LIGHTNING & HARLEY owners!

They are offering their eaton porting service for $440 again FOR A LIMITED TIME ONLY!

update!

I am working on getting somthing set up. So we know where it's going to ballpark, we would need 10 people commited, and the price would be $440 + shipping, and it would be for lightning/HD units only. It would be a one-time group purchase offer because they are working the special deal to help spread the word on our lightning products. Once the list has hit 10 people that have sent us their info to get the job scheduled, we would hold the group purchase open for one extra week to get any additional people signed up that wanted to join in. Remember that we fully disassemble these, check clearances, check bearings, and check the seals. It's not just a quick and easy port job, and each unit will go thru the same high standards.

The turnaround time would still be just 2-3 days, and we would work the shop overtime for a two week period to take care of porting everyone's unit. We already turn around 12-15 units per week, so we estimated that the added volume from the GP wouldn't have any affect on turnaround time. Also to get in on the group buy/pricing we would need to modify the customer's actual unit instead of doing the advance shipment program with our cores.

Along with the group purchase, anyone who got in on that would also be offered a special price of $150 to have your EEC flashed with a performance program while their supercharger is in for work, and $100 for an interchangable Quick change upper pulley. Our EEC flahes do not distrupt the J3 port so there would be no way for a dealer to detect that the code has been modified. If you were to have an engine failure you could send the computer to us and we would return the code back to stock for free.

Does that sound like somthing you guys would be intrested in? If so I could get all of the final details together and setup a list.

I don't work for apten, know anybody at apten, or even own an apten ported blower (yet ), but I know there is alot of interest in this mod lately and some folks might like to know about this offer. I hope i'm not stepping on anybody's toes or violating any SV rules, but I just thought I'd mention that I saw this.

here is some more info:

if you want to e-mail me your full name, phone number, truck year, and address to bjherron@apten-us.com I will start making a list
looks like there is enough people. I will start contacting people today via e-mail or telephone to make arrangements and figure out when we will start doing the port work.

The regular price on our work is $599 but it has been on sale thru the end of the year for $549. So if you are doing the GP but sending it in after the 1st you are saving $159.

I will get a price and information for porting the upper this morning and relay that.

Thanks,
Brian Herron
also they are offering exterior polishing, pulley swapping, etc while they have the blower for this process.

I also wanted to clarify on the exterior poishing. If you want the whole exterior polished it adds $499 on top of the $440 for the internal porting work (so totaling $939). I know it's a high cost to have it polished, so I'd only look at it if you are into shows and stuff. So just to clarify, the exterior polishing is a seperate thing that's optional

if this picture works, here's a pic of a polished cobra eaton we did

here's the LINK to the other thread for more info to anybody who might be interested.

later,
chris

Hey thanks Chris,

My blower is currently being ported by Embree Machine shop, can't wait to get it back this coming week.

I've got Dyno numbers from all the mod's I have now. We'll see how much hp/trq I get on the Dyno soon.
