Hey guys, I went to the track and ran an 8.54 with a 1.86 60ft. Is there any hope of running a 12 at the 1/4. If not I will be installing a chip filter and pully, how low would the 1/8 mile be after that. p.s. I have a 2lb lower w/o a chip

lightninkid: im guessing that 8.54 would work out to a 13.20 or so based on my first 12 was with a 8.38.

thanks guys it felt really good. i have had this truck 4 1/2 years now,and i have worked extremely hard on hitting 12's and the 7s as dan greene can vouch for! then it was 11s which i hit then the goal turned to 6's before 10s, so now it is time to get the 10 printed out. not a doubt that woulda been an easy 10 there. my past run was 97 in the 1/8th and 121 in the 1/4 and i spun all the way through 1st to an 11.15 on that one so no doubt that was a 10. but i aint one that says shoulda woulda coulda it aint a 10 sec truck it hits 10s on a slip. but fact is it is a 6 second truck!!!!!!!

Dang Rusty I'm glad I had to work cause my 8.50's would have looked real stupid when you run the 6's

what was the temp on that run? what kind of traction bars did he have? I plan on getting that exact setup, with et streets for now. If i could hit that time i will be very pleased!

home made trac bars(slapper style), and 42 degrees. by the way if you are gonna buy tires go with the full slick imo. et streets arent worth anything where we race they are JUNK!
