power loss
I picked up a used 01 34.8K miles, then 2 weeks later it went into the shop for fog lights, marker light, and oil leak. They fixed it all.
But it felt like it was down on power, I thought it was all in my head. Because about a mile from the dealer I got 3 sand bags (210lbs), to put in the rear.
I didn't think they messed with the top of the motor, but I get the paper work on Saturday. It showed they pulled the SC off when replacing the oil pan gasket.
Could they have not put something back right? I have looked, but it looks ok.
I have not talked to the dealer about this, they are about 1 hour from my house, so I just can't drop by without missing work.
Any ideas?

I hope they "TORQUED" the supercharger down when placing
in back on !
Ask the dealer in person if they torqued it back down...I previously
had a 2000 L...the engine and blower were replaced at about 4000 miles (piston slap)...the new engine had a defective NEW blower.....the dealer had another new blower in stock...replaced it but they did'nt torque the blower properly.

Did you have a chip? Do you STILL have a chip? A friend of mine took his into the dealer for repairs and they removed his chip. You might also try removing the negative battery cable for 10-15 minutes and then driving it. That will reset things and can make a noticeable difference in power.

No chip, pulleys, ect. Just exhaust.
I had a no start, and it was towed to a dealer to reset the pats(?).
I had the battery unhooked for about 10 min. befor it was towed.

The warrenty work was a week before the no-start.
I have not done anything about the loss, I thought it was in my head till I got the paper work.
