100 MM Idler pulley failure
If you bought or recieved your Metco idler pullies early one, you have oem crap bearings. I notice with my bearings all the grease is shooting out the dust caps and covering the inside of the pulley. Which in turn cause all th bellt dust and road dirt to stick to the pulley. My truck is stock so this has to be worse for aftermarket trucks.
Metco has told me there is nothing wrong with the oem bearings and they have never has and complaints on them. Guess I was the first.
I think the oem bearing is having ALL the grease spun out and thus making noise as the friction is increased from lack of lubrications.
The ideal solution would be to get a SEALED bearing where increased rpm's won't allow the grease to be forced out.

I asked a simple question on whether it was your pulley or Metco's, you started it..

no you didn't...
you asked if the one that failed was a BF.... then went on to state that you have M's and everything was fine...
So,
I would say ... you started it
