I was thinking the same thing. I just dont know if my block will handle it. I dont know why it wouldnt. Can anyone tell me if I get a ported Eaton, I'll be making any less heat? Also will I be making any more boost? I have a 4# lower and a 2.8 upper now, do you suggest I put a stock upper back on? can I get some more info on the blower porting for $300? Thanks, Shane

It's REM for $299 vs. Apten for $599....

Since everyone is worried about stealing each others ideas, and in the long run, profits, they only thing we have to judge both of these on is proven dynos of customers before and after the swap. And that means ONLY a blower swap to keep an apples to apples comparison.

With that said, I have seen several people with Aptens post their gains. Until the same thing happens with the REM customers, I know where my $$$ will be going

Peronally, to answer your question, I think that a 4# lower would be a perfect compliment to the Apten setup. JeffsLightning is seeing 1.5-2#'s more boost with his Apten, so he is running about 6 more than stock which is a good stopping point on a stock block. That and the fact that the blower will be running more effieciently (hopefully cooler), make a 4# and excellent choice. Depends how much you wanna gamble

Thanks for the rundown. my question is, if I port the eaton, what is that doing exactly? You said I may see another pound of so boost, but it is more efficient... I dont want to gamble any more than I am now. I may put the stock upper back on, or get long tubes...
