Thumbs down Cobras suck too....>>>

oil that is. Why if their pcv is supposedly better than ours do they get as much if not more oil in the intake? This is pathetic..

When someone went to buy the Cobra pcv the part# didn't match with the "???-98" part# that is in the Swanson kit. It was said way back when that this was the Cobra pcv and we just took it as gospel (I'm guilty of it myself). Apparently it is not the same part, so yes the Cobra could have the same problem we are having.

I no longer have that problem since installing the Swanson kit 9,000 miles ago.

I've been reading posts about this problem for the past three years now and I'm wondering ..... just what is so bad about this condition?

I believe the issue is that the oil coats the intercooler and makes it less effective.

Too much timing, boost or bad gas causes detonation.

oil mixing with gas can lower octane rating.
a lot of turbo cars have similar problems
