Got into my truck today,interior light wont shut off,air bag light is on in the cluster,no speedometer,overdrive light is flashing,and when i remove my keys from the ignition the heater controls still functions?????????In my 2000F-350 7.3 diesel that is.Apologize for this not being a lightning thread but i tried posting on the superduty post but its kinda dead over there.But as most know i do own a lightning also so i hope that will excuse me.I really do need my truck up and going for work tommorow.Thanx for any help.

 

My WAG is that the ignition switch is screwed up. Try working the switch a few times and you may get lucky. I don't know if spraying anything in it would help or hurt.

Disconnect the Battery
Wait a few minutes, then hook it back up

 

I believe the heater controls are vacuum operated, and will continue to operate until the vacuum canister is depleated.

Hopefully someone will correct me if I'm all wet.
