They look pretty chincy compared to the Truck Tracks. The uprights that bolt on and the u-bolts are a lot smaller than the truck traks.

The last 5 digits of the part number are the Lakewoods part number so I would say they are lakewood.

Leo, don't mean to hi-jack your thread, but I'd be interested to find out if these are worth it also. What kind of improvement should we see with traction bar if we keep the F1's? I just need to cut of 1/100 of a second to get into the 12's and that's all I want. Thanks!!!!

its cool man....better to find out all at once instead of making a entire new thread! Im running a pair of 18x10X16 Hoosiers and my best 60ft to date is a 1.9xx..hopefully these traction bars from rpmoutlet are good, and some drop shakles will help me lower that 60ft.

Great times man...did you notice a big improvement on the road, too? Hooking up all the HP seems to be one of the biggest problems of our L's.

It didn't help as far as more traction on the street I don't think. But I had them on before I modded so I can really compare. I can tell you that the whole truck doesn't twist like a pretzel when you floor it or do a kick down like it used to. Rear stays completely flat now and just slides side to side

Another thing that is nice is that you have a normal ride cruising and it doesn't firm up until you nail it. Advantage of a slapper bar....they aren't "on" all of the time.

I must have a horseshoe in my @ss.....

I can get consistant 1.8 and 1.9's on F1's with no traction bars of any type ......I just keep my psi @ 26-28.

Maybe being at a track like Rt 66 helps

HEVYRESQ how often to you get to rt66?

rt66 is really nice. My best 60 foot time there is with nittos and it was 1.86. I've yet to get anything better with my slicks... I am hoping for a better 60 foot and et in the spring of 04.
