Subwoofer In. Finally!!!

I know it's not much but so far it seems good enough for me. The color matches alot better than the pictures. I guess it was the flash reflection. I just did a line level input for now. Never did use those back speakers anyhow. As you can tell I made the box myself and although it does slightly touch the back of the seat but I'll monitor for abrasions. Other than that I just thought I would share.

BTW the board helped alot on finding a place to route the power line. It's like anything you do for the first time. It takes forever but if I had to install it again I could do it in under a couple of hours I'm sure. Happy holidays

Nice job, looks good to me.

You said you made the box yourself? What material did you use?

I used MDF, 3/4 for sides and front with 1/2 for the back and bottom. I used three or four pieces for the radius and then did alot of filling and belt sanding. I finished it off with primer which I should have sprayed on, then lots of grey Rust-oleum spray with sanding and 0000 steel wool in between. It is not perfect and the pictures make it look better than it is but what the hell.

so you just used a sander to round the edges or did you use a router or something?

Pretty much just a belt sander. The angles were about 24 degrees I think so that way the angles could be sanded into a radius. BTW after listening to it for a couple of days now, I've got to say that I wish I would have done it earlier.
