These events for the most part are organized well.
We have some in Michigan also usually Friday & Sat. fights.
There would be nothing to see 15 or 20 trailers. And maybe 10 to 20 bikes. There is a 500. to 2K buy in.
I would never race on a busy street or in an area where families and kids play. One thing that most people forgett drag racing was founded from street racing!

I used to live in Houston, and let me say this...right or wrong...there is some REDICULOUSLY fast ***** down there. They(street racers) take that stuff serious. Houston is home to some wicked tuner shops, with customers that regularly drop 20-30K+ on their cars without even batting an eye!
I'm not condoning street racing, but I can understand the lure of the mystique, adrenaline, competition, and pride that's involved, especially if done off the beaten path. Just my .02.
