OT:Can I Put A S/C On A Regular 5.4?

I know it's ot but I need to get the wife a new Expy and I just read on BOV that Ford is not going to put the 30valve from the F150 in the Expys until the '05. So I thought why not just have a s/c put on.

I have a friend that bought a Escalade, and his dealer installed a Bad Cad option. It was an s/c with exhaust, basically the works and all was under warrenty. Does Ford have anything like this?

Thanks for the replies.

You need to ask this in the superchargers section not the Lightning section.

That said, yes you can put a supercharger on the 5.4. It depends on what heads are on there but there should be plenty of choices for you. As for Ford making one- No I do not know of any.

Why not try and pick up an 03 Navigator with the 32 valve 5.4. I've seen them listed pretty reasonable as dealers are trying to move them off their lots or look for a low mileage used one and save the depreciation factor.

Yeah that's my other option, but I thought for the extra cash of the Navi, I might be able to have a quicker Expy plus some money left over for some bling. Thanks though.
