i actually think it is a different silver somehow, if you look on the SVT site, it is a different color of silver, or it is supposed to be

Yes it is the same color as the 00-02 "Silver metallic". Other then adding the silver the 04 L's are a carry over of the 03's

Same here in NH, most likely because it is winter, snow etc and most people figure you can't drive them in the snow so that do not sale well in winter...

That is good news for good deals. Local dealer here has 5 2003's and 4 2004's just sitting there. The 03's have been there about 2 - 3 months now.

I believe the badges are from Buick. They come on the Park Avenue Ultras, Regals etc.

Hey 01 XLT Sport -

You still looking to get an L ?

If so, how's that going?

What with 5 - 03's on the lot they should be willing to pay you to take one.

I just checked Edmunds on what a used 2003 L would be.

Dealer trade in is 25682

Buying one private party lists at 26974

Since invoice is 28733 and they actually paid less than that...
And since list was 33310, and they get a three percent holdback payment...

Let's reasonably assume they paid about 27500...less the 3% of the msrp comes to 26500
Then there's the added cost to them for having the damn thing sitting on their lot taking up space...
and since dealer trade is 25600....

I figure between 26500 and 25600

so 26000 is the settle price...

so offer them 25000 for the 2003 and settle for 26K and a new L is yours dude!
