Billet Grill is peeling, what to do

here is a pic, only a few spots... and when u stand back its not even noticable.... i guess its from rock chips?? i was thinking of just getting some kind of black paint and painting the black part back so it will look better when up close....

what kind of paint should i use?

It might be doing this because a high pressure washer was used. The instructions that came with my black powder coated grill said to stay away from high pressure car washs.

I know for a fact that paint does not like to stick to aluminum. It takes special primer to make it adhere.

Mine looks the same. I am going to get them powder coated when I get my shaker hood.

try scrapping all of the black paint off and having it all aluminum silver, that might look good

my lower grill was doing the same thing... i used a bottle of flat black touch up paint that i got at walmart to touch up the spots.

then i hit a bobcat, and bought a new lower grill..
