Gonna be more than 12k difference. I work with a guy and found out yesterday that his bro-in-law is the new car manager of the Dodge dealership here in town. They supposedly have 2 on order at a 47k sticker. That's already 14k more than a GenII before and additional dealer markup

i hate stupid people
i don't know what the srt 10 will run stock but i seriously doubt it will run 12.9. What ever it will run i'm pretty sure my modded L will handle it.

This has to be by far the best quote so far in this thread. Poor guy. I actually feel bad that someone told him this...

solarCTsrt4
not sure if this was stated cause i didnt feel like reading 5 pages of posts but the new lightning is only 500hp when using the "supercooler", otherwise its only 385., The srt-10 has the upper hand with the power on hand at all times

What does everyone expect??? Every darned article that comes out is saying that the SRT-10 has dethrowned the Lightning. These dodge boys have been sitting back getting spanked by fords for years in pick up trucks. They think they are about to have their day.

Just smack em around at the track and one by one, they will ****.

Why not? Do you think that a highly modded SRT would be running street tires at the strip? Dream on. Right now Duttweiler is building an 1800 h.p. Viper motor that's going in a street driven '71 'cuda. It won't be long before some well heeled Dodge owner wants one of those in his truck, too. Lets face it, an 8 liter motor has a bigger upside for potential mods than a 5.4 does. Be that as it may, the Dodge will always be fugly. I have no brand loyalty to Ford, especially after the way they have jerked me around on my warrantee, but it will freeze in Hades before you ever see me behind the wheel of a Daimler.
