Defi gauges

On a separate gauge topic...

After searching, I found one person using Defi gauges instead of Autometer. I was wondering if anyone else is doing this and is so, how accurate they are.

Defi has a nice little heads-up display that will display gauge readings. I was thinking about setting some information up through the display just to be different. One of their US distributors is here in Austin and I thought I'd go check it out. Wanted to get some potential user feedback first.

I looked into the defi, but they said they didnt plan on having a feed for supercharger boost, just turbo readouts... i think it would be pretty damn cool to do a heads up

I spoke with their applications group, the gauges look good and may even be more accurate in readings that Autometer. i am going to be trying some early next year.

If you want to touch base then..I'm at Ddmperfgroup@aol.com

Good Luck

Best gages around. I have them on order for my STi. Boost gage will work fine for a blower. Typical 3-gage set with the Link-II controller is going for about $840 (BF 60mm series). I will have boost, EGT, and Oil Pressure. If anyone needs a link to distributors shoot me an e-mail.

I'm working on setting up a demo of the VSD (HUD) for this week or early next week. I'll take some pictures and post for those interested. The final unit is not done, so I'm going to get a concept demo.

I'll have to read the rules on this, but depending on the response to it, I can probably arrange a group buy. I'll post pics as soon as possible.

They are pretty awesome. They will record up to 2 minutes, display the peak numbers, etc. Totally stealth when off, no numbers visable. Turn the key on and they come alive.
