I read all about the "Nigeria Scam letter" about a year ago. I went to a site after receiving a similiar letter and INTERPOL was already following up on many of these letters.
Many of them originate out of Nigeria and the goal is to get your cash.

lol, Blue bolt.
as I have read, before you ever got any cash you would be required to travel to Nigeria. They would want to see you "face to face".
You would probably meet the people sending you the scam mail, right before they kidnap you.

I believe this scam is to get you to call the phone number. Then the call gets routed through some corrupt little third world country where they tack on a several hundred dollar charge. It shows up on your phone bill and you are screwed trying to get it off, because you did make the call and that is the charge.

A BIG article is going arond here in LI about that,
AND IT AINT NO FEW HUNDRED, and your right,
YOU AINT GETTING OUT OF PAYING FOR IT, "YOU" CALLED IT
Some are being billed for as much as 13Grand and others up @
6-8 Grand. This scam is SOMEONE calling or leaving a message on your machine, (usually older people) and telling them their Loved one just died or is very sick and they need to call this number right away (I have a Memo at work, I should post the exchange)
I know it was a believable one. Example since they ran out of
1-800, we all know they now use 1-888, this one is like 1-880
OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT

They always feed on the weak
BASTARDS
