Just installed my Gadgetseller's "modified" Phantom A/F gage. I thought it was only supposed to work at WOT. Mine bounces around slightly all the time. Anyone with this gage have this happen???? thanks...JR

 

Which O2 sensor did you tap into? I used the passenger side.

Gadgetseller's site states that the bottom lights may bounce on some applications. Mine only lights up occassionally when not at WOT or near WOT.

I used a pigtail on the driver's side o2 sensor....would it make a difference?

 

When you're not at WOT the A/F mixture will constantly be adjusted. At idle it will bounce back and forth between lean and rich. It's normal.


BTW, you gotta love the pigtail. It makes the installation, and goin back to stock later, much easier.

at idle mine bounces a little at idle, but when cruising it bounces up and down around stoich, but at WOT is pins right at the stoich/rich level and stays there.....

 

Sounds about right. If you were running richer you would be all the way into the rich reading at WOT. Sounds like a fairly aggressive tune you have.
