Red face Stupid (kicking myself right now)

So I went up to Davis on thursday to see some friends that go to UCD. Well, after I get off the freeway the truck is idling funny. I check over what I can on the side of the road and didnt find anything visually wrong. Luckily I was about 20 miles away from the shop that did the motor swap on my truck. Friday morning (i had planned on driving back thursday night) I had the truck towed to the shop. So I call up my cousin to drive 2 hours to come pick me up. Luckily she wasnt doing ne thing and could come. So fastforward to today, tuesday, I call the shop to find out what was wrong with the truck. Since I had just changed the plugs I thought for sure it was either a loose or blown plug. I was dreading this call. Turns it the only problem they found was, get this, a fuel injector harness was loose. DOH! I guess I didnt clip one of them on all the way. Wow, cant believe I didnt check for that. So now I have to find a ride to Davis to go pick up the truck on Fri. $100 tow and $100 bill later, my injector harness is now clipped on all the way

We've all done that sorta stuff. Your knowledge of a particular subject is pretty deep and far reaching. But yet the ultra simple things catch ya from time to time. What's really embarrasing is when someone who knows next to nothing about it is the one pointing out the problem.

The only people who don't make mistakes are the ones that don't do anything. Glad it all worked out in the end tho.

Your right, you did mention that. Too bad I made the post after it was already at the shop or I could have checked for that. Thanks for the info though.
