My buddy is getting an ae86 tomorrow, an exact replica from takumis, right hand driver and all....but im not trying to be like takumi.....my L doesnt drift well, and really eats up the tires when it does. cool vid by the way

 

yes, my tires look almost "sand blasted" from running a doing some drifting on a roadcourse close to the coast about 6 months ago.

I've drifted my truck for fun at some of the autox events...It is more difficult to do coordinated drifting in a vehicle that has no handbrake.

To get my truck going, I put the air pressure up in the tires, then played with my shock settings, making the rear REAL solid, made it pretty easy...we've go so much oversteer, its learning how to read your tires grip to control your movements.

If you're talking about physics, Initial D STILL isn't realistic. Mr. Takumi drifts for like 5 minutes on one turn. Is that realistic? I don't think so.
