Installing 160 degree thermo ?
Any recommendations on the install process?
Do I have to drain the entire radiator?
Do I need to by any replacement gaskets / o-rings (if so do you know the part #)
About how long did it take you?
Thanks

Just drain some of the coolant into a bucket--just make sure you dont drain the intercooler!!!
Its pretty easy 15min job-- and you dont need any new gaskets or hardware.
Check svtlightnings.com--there might me a "how to" link there
good luck

Just as he stated, make sure you drain some coolant. You'll have to uninstall the bracket to the accelerater cable. You can use the o-ring that is in the old thermostat, just make sure you don't loose it when you open it up. Other than that, it's pretty easy. Just did mine last week, and I noticed that the engine is running a lot cooler. Let me know if you have any othere questions. If you do a search for thermostat, you might find some pics, too.

Don`t be a cheap-skate here. It`s winter now. Drain the whole radiator and use half antifreeze and half distilled water. Do the job right. Antifreeze is cheap and distilled water is even cheaper at $1.00 a gallon. Good Luck Tom
