Officially gone.

Sold the L yesterday. Had a ton of fun with it but it's time to play with something else. Going to focus on my STi now until the GenIII L's are out. Shooting for 400whp in the STi by spring time. Looking at making it into a Porsche (TT), Viper, Z06 killer. Possibly a Silver State or One Lap car.

Still going to hang out here. Have to stay up with who is fast.

Sorry to see her go Bill. But the real question is how much of the money from the sale is the wife going to let you 're-invest'?

Looks like some new jewelry is in her future.

How is it compared to the L?
Before selling the L I returned back to stock performance wise. Compared to the stock STi the stock L felt slow. I am sure part of that is that I was used to the L running hard in it's tuned state. Handling wise there is no comparison. I had worked very hard on the suspension on the L to improve the handling. The STi runs circles around it in the twisties. Got to try the AWD out in a little snow storm we had. Very cool. Great traction even with summer tires. My plan is to keep this. Buy the GenIII when it comes out as my daily driver. Once the GenIII is out I will pull out all the stops on the STi performance wise. Upwards of 600whp perhaps and a major weight saving diet.

Z,
Our jeweler is already working on a new piece right now. Plus getting ready to hit the beach in Kauai next week. I am covered.

Nice. Enjoy Kauai. I was over there 2 Christmas' ago with the family. If you want to be left alone and away from the busy stuff, it is definitely the island choice. My parents picked up a time share out there, too. I just may have to give it some thought for spring break as this snow we got the last couple days is KILLING me. lol.

Catch ya around Bill. Oh, and if you still have any parts you'd think I may want laying around, send me an email.

I'll have to agree that Kauai is awesome, went there a few years ago with the family. Have a good trip and enjoy the STI.
