SAL, Lightning Tuner.....

Incase you don't see the other post?

Curious minds want to know....

Why are you selling the BEAST?
and other related "historic" lightning parts?

It's nothing major. The truck is at a point where to make it any faster would mean to run consistant 9s. I do not want to do the needed stuff to make the truck 9 second legal (namely the 10pt cage). Plus making that kind of power on a 4800lb truck that's used primarily for drag racing takes a big toll on parts, and I don't want to put more money into the truck just to stay at the same ET. I'd rather sell it the way it is, and let somebody else enjoy it, and give it more use than it currently sees. Just because I am selling it doesn't mean I am getting out of anything, and doesn't mean I won't be racing. I will most likely get an 04 and do some bolt ons to tie me over till the Gen 3 comes out. And I may also race the Thundersnake in NMRA next year, instead of the truck. It's all still up in the air right now, but I'm definitely not going anywhere, just making some changes.

As for the "other" stuff, I'm just trying so bring in some "un-business" related money to put towards other projects.

Sal,
You don't have to get into specifics if you don't want, but please tell us something about your "Thundersnake".

What year body-style T-bird?
What Cobra Engine?
Is it blown?

Please tell...............at least a nibble!!

He posted pictures of it before, the white 70s Cobra Mustang with blue stripes, and a 10" intake section sticking out of the hood
