130mph

had the truck up to 130+ mph last night....on a empty road at 1 am in the morning so hah.......and it pulled pretty hard up until i shut it down. It looked like it had about 1800-2000 rpm left in it. Is it true that they will top out around 142? if so why? they seem to want to run forever! keep in mind my L is stock. It hasnt even had its first oil change yet so.....mods are to come. Thanks Jim

well the spedo says 140 and I had my L burried past that so I know they can take out the 142MPH marker. Some of the auto cross L owners have hit 160 on long runs. These trucks rock!!!

180 in a truck would be a scary ride....180 in a viper on the other hand...HEAVEN

I'm plenty crazy enough to handle the speeds -- I am just not crazy enough to handle the cops.

And since I have now, thanks to these boards, learned to be a law-abiding, non-traffic-law-violating, narc-out-anyone-I-see-speeding kind of guy, it's just not possible.

When you drop the suspension, add a few mods, you can do over 150.

Not that I've verified this. *cough*

Just kidding, guys. That's what the means.

C'mon, lighten up.

Or I'll be forced to report you.
