leean, do a clay like mentioned and then use 3m swirl remover with an electric buffer if you can, if you can't by hand is fine, but do it in very small sections, once it's on it's nearly impossible to take off if its there for more than a few minutes. I've had great results with that stuff. Make sure its the "for darker colors" bottle.
Thanks... I could always just sell the truck and find a white one....

It looks like road rash (gravel) chipping the clear coat and black base coat, mixed with wax residue in the chips. Best bet is to pull the pieces off and have a good body shop sand them down and repaint them when they are bad enough to bother you. It's the reason I put small mud flaps on mine.

Also, I think the base color of the plastic pieces is a light gray so when chipped on a dark car they are going to show.

Dude you have way too much tread on those tires. Go do some friggin burnouts and cover up the white stuff with stinky black stuff. Problem solved.

It could be interesting trying that since the damage is caused by the front tires.

That looks like it's pretty permanent. Wouldn't hurt to try and spray some WD-40 on there and GENTLY wipe it with a cotton rag to see if any of that will loosen up. If you do that make sure you clean off the WD with some liquid detergent like Dawn and water. Immediately get some polish/wax on there to protect the clearcoat.

Good luck!!

From your pic, I have to think that road paint spray like you mentioned. Should be easy to tell though? If the 'spots' are on top of the paint, well..........paint spray. If you can;t feel the raised paint with your finger tips, then it's chipped, truck paint

This looks like advice I would give.

Mike, you forgot to logout when you were here on Sunday. I haven't cleared my cookies since, so I was logged on as you, not knowing. Kinda freaked me out when I saw your signature.

Thought I had been 'owned'!!

p.s. I logged you out. Man..think of the *****storms I could have started on here in your name.
