What harm is done if the coating comes off, and the intercooler is cleaned out? Can it be run that way? I noticed that the rotors on my '99 were flaking at 30,000 miles when it was replaced for other reasons under warranty. Haven't looked at my 2002 yet.
Mine looked new at 35 k miles.... its a 2000.
Clonetek = daaamn...your IC looked pretty bad , mine was really brown from the oil problem...but didnt have any black in it like that.
I wonder how often we should be checking our IC/rotors ...every 30-40k maybe?
