FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Well....my friend has a nine second lightning that you know nothing about! He doesn't post, and he only goes to the track when no other lightnings are there. And he goes by a fake name Gay 03!

Good luck getting Ford to warranty it. That's the crux.

Going fast with class!
Now thats what I call class.

Reminds me of someone else that had absolutley nothing to add to any discussion other than crude remarks and whining.

I forgot Whip, you hate Cecil when everyone else loves it, so you must be the oddity. Dont even get me started on your screename, I could go on forever with that one

I really dont care about warranty, I bought my L for a reason to race it and try to make it as fast as I can. KB knows what his s/c is used for and why people are buying them, to go fast. Its an aftermarket racing part to race and go fast. Why buy something and then be limit to its use. Look at the Eaton how many people have over spun it with no problems. Maybe the KB isnt as strong as people think.

Fair enough, but to apply the It's mine and I'll do what I want approach, it's the same for eaton or KB. You can do what you want, but might not get warranty coverage.
Jim is just clarifying that their policy is the spacer is not supported (in addition to it had no performance benefit).

I dont disagree with Jim, he gave his word and is keeping it. I dont agree with Kenne Bell. Its like saying " this part makes your vehicle faster, but dont go faster or I wont warrenty it".

Grey03,

You seem to be awfully touch with this whole KB situation. Common bud tell me what's really eatin you. If it makes you feel "safer" to talk your stuff behind a false screename and will not reveal your identity to anyone so be it. Why don't you give JLP a chance to address this post, after all it was addressed to him.

Also about your little attitude comment. You're right I have a big attitude and that toward people like you. You said you were going ot be at Cecil for the SSOTN event. Man, what a surprise no one saw you their. What a shocker! Whether your JJ, BTJ, or any other of the ying yangs it doesn't matter your all the same person to me. Now go ahead and get your meaningless last word in, you know you want to.

Stay tuned for previews of next weeks program of "Days of our Tuners" , starring JDM and his sidekick Justin and JLP along with his little biatch Grey03. Next weeks episode will be staring Grey03 who suffers from dyslexia and actually writes his little cryptic messages forward for all to easily read while Justin swears they shipped the part out yesterday to an unkown customer.

Before I throw 3K bucks at a KB blower,
I have a question for Mr Jim Bell.

What has caused the failures (bearings or gears) in "stock" KB blowers and what have you done to correct this problem?

Thanks for your response

Contrary to your beliefs, I normally dont respond to you when you make posts like the one above, but this time I felt a need to reply to you to tell you why I dont.

Your above post does more harm than good and serves absolutley no purpose other than allowing you the ability to vent your frustration about not knowing who I am.

I on the other hand, posted useful and insightful information regarding this topic and I am very interested that the actual truth is expressed here.

My lack of revealing my identity is always a good topic for you and Jim to post about when backed into a wall. Try something new for once wont you?

Why don't you give JLP a chance to address this post, after all it was addressed to him.
Am I missing something here? This post was not addressed to JLP. It was a general post and I feel I did a good job of explaining from what I have observed, JLP's position and relationship with KB.

Please feel free to post relative information regarding this topic. The childish and immature remarks serve no other purpose than to discredit you and JDM Engineering.

As it stands now, it looks like KB and JLP have a great association, while others were trying to bring aftermarket superchargers to market, KB and JLP worked very closely to get the KB blower done right and perform, now all that hard work is paying off not only for JLP customers, but for any owner that decides to run that blower. Where would your 10 sec customers be without that blower and the time and research by JLP and KB that went into it??
Grey03,

According to all the magazine articles that I read Jim Bell must be lying because all the articles state that he did all the testing in house. All the dyno tuning was done on Kenne Bell's dynojet in his building located in California. Your quote above makes it sound like they should call it the JLP/Kenne Bell blower. Whichever the case may be I can say one thing, Grey03 is that you should stop posting for JLP because I just had two customers that ordered the Magnum blowers instead of the Kenne Bell's. See, now you are costing Kenne Bell sales. You think its a game to hide your identity and because of that people start to take guess at who you are. They do know one thing, that your deeply associated with JLP by your posts. The reason why the first guess was JJ and that would be my guess to is because of JJ's multiple board names in the past. No matter who you are, you are now costing Kenne Bell and JLP sales of new customers. I don't know why it is that the people associated with JLP have to have multiple board names. Is it your practice to come on here and bash other vendors under a false name like Eric did (false board name Mr. Freeze) and real name 99SvtLightning not to mention JJ's multiple board names. If I felt like typing for a half hour more I would list them all. Maybe this is the intent of Grey03, to hurt JLP and Kenne Bell's business.

There is a difference between running a 10.80 and a 10.40. A huge difference.
Grey03,

Our trucks have one power adder. We have two trucks in the 10.60's and the rest of them go between 10.70's and 10.90's plus my own truck with one power adder on the stock blower went 10.50 flat at 128.50. That's only 6 houndreds, not even a full tenth behind Johnny's quickest run. Now, lets add up his power adders. First, he has a stroker motor. Second, Kenne Bell. Third, he has the Lightest Gen2 on the planet. The difference to go 6 hundreds quicker is just the fact that I went 10.50 flat at Englishtown and he went 10.44 at the world's quickest track. Again, it looks like you are trying to hurt the person's business that you talk most about. If I was Johnny I would hunt you down with a roll of duct tape, tape all your fingers together behind your back so you can never type again.
