OT: anyone work for FORD?
OT: anyone work for FORD?
I'm desperately looking for someone who works for Ford.
Here's the perdicament I'm in:
From day one I've had the huge lag, poor off idle acceleration, hesitation, whatever you may call it. I've brought my truck in 4 times total with print outs from a diesel forum asking them to check specific items and only to be told "there were no codes" and that I might be expecting too much from my truck. I even called the area rep and that was worthless.
So I called Ford today to see if I can get in touch with the area Rep but I would have to go through the dealership that I don't want to go through with anymore. I asked if I could get intouch with a diesel tech or anyone who actually works with diesels, nope. I asked if anyone there had even heard of the problem, nope. How about if I could get in touch with the area rep myself, nope. All I was told is "contact your service manager."
I want to actually talk to someone who can help me out or someone who can point me in the right direction.
Any help is much appreciated.

This is the 2nd dealership I've been to. I would rather go to the dealership that sold me my truck, but since im in college I go to the local one. I've called 5 other dealerships so far and none have that much experience with the diesels.
Call Grande Ford in San Antonio, TX. You need to go to a dealer that sells only Diesel trucks, they will be able to better help you than a Regular Ford Dealer. Also try posting on Dieselstop.com asking for a good Dealer in your area. The guy Ive dealt with at Grande is Named BJ (sorry I dont recall his last name)
