Suavy, it was about this time last year that you started posting about your new engine project and MP blower. You've had it a year now, any numbers or track times or updates? Thanks!

By the way, it seems ironic that Apten did the original tuning on Suavy's truck back when the MP blower was still based on the Eaton case....and now Apten sells ported Eatons for 1/4 the price of the MP.
Apten did not do the tuning after all JDM did. Track times and dyno sheets were had but Magnum Powers requested that I not post them. Keep in mind that I have the prototype so a good portion of the R&D was done on my truck.
Please direct any tech question you may have to JDM they will be answering all your questions.
I will say that I love my blower and the wine is one that you have to hear on your own.
I can say that my project has been a long time coming. I also regret to say I never got to enter a single race this year. However, the cat will be out of the bag soon and I plan on entering the FFW events for 2004.
I can say that I have held my onw this year on the street seen.

Peace, Suavy

Justin, JDM,

you stated that you will be ordering your final batch of 30 MP blowers.

Will you get more after that? I'm thinking since it is winter (28 degrees outside right now) and most people mod during the winter they would use tax returns to purchase this next year.

Please tell me you can order more blowers down the road!
(next years)

BTW: I'm not waiting for a tax return, I heard you have to pay taxes when you work, so I decided to quit working! (2 years ago)

keep us updated.

OTHER QUESTION:
how is the tuning? it it pretty much straight forward or are there bugs still to work out!
what chips do you use at JDM?

SUAVY! everytime I see that monster I get more impressed

IMHO...a ported Eaton won't even come close to the MP. Magnum Powers moved the rotors in the case toward the front of the truck. It cleaned up both the intake and the outlet of the case....ALOT. The whole case on the MP was reengineered.
