I just doubled my knowledge about superchargers by reading that

I thought it was a very good post and offered allot of great info.

The KB has proven itself to make tons of power................
But I wonder why Jim didn't talk about the bearing failures and how he corrected them. I know I want to know more before I drop $3K for a blowe

 

Now see....I didn't know about bearings, I heard it was gears.

I have one myself but haven't run it yet. I'm a little nervous about it.

I don't know ****, who is he and why does he start, well let me rephrase that, have such a strong opinion regarding certain things.

 

I might be wrong, but the noises I've heard sound like bearing to me, my bad if its gears, but it sure seems like there are a few problems in the front nose cone

I just know, I would like a few reassurances, that the 3K blower is all well and good. Before any body blast me, I know they make tremendous power and pull very strong.
I work for my money (like everyone else), so I would like a little faith in my purchases.

As for ****, I've spoken to him a few times, and he never has come off as anything other than an enthusiast, that wants the best. Don't we all? As far as the Works looking better, well beauty is in the eye of the beholder, right?
Btw........I think the Works looks better too

 

I agree! Though I will admit looks are subjective.

What does Bell mean he didn't "like the idea of twisting and sandwiching a new manifold between the firewall and the rear entry of an off-the-self supercharger."





What are these? Kenne Bell off-the-shelf superchargers with twisted, sandwiched manifolds! They look like they flow great too! <sarcasm off>

Someone should just do a shootout to settle all this once and for all (in the interest of fun)! It's great the L community has several options for aftermarket blowers, each addressing individual owner's/truck's needs.
