Built shortblock question

On all the built shortblocks offered are there any compression ratios being changed or is that a option?
Thanks Mike

We use CP 17cc dished pistons. I am sure others are offering different combos. Just remember, more boost will always give you more hp than more compression.

Exactly why I was asking

I'm was thinking of lowering the compression from stock so I could run more boost on pump gas.

Thanks Mike

Mike,

Stock compression- 8.4:1
JDM Short block compression- 8.5:1
JDM short block with our CNC ported heads- 8.0:1, because of the CNC work we do in the chamber area.

Hope this helps,

Justin@JDM

Thanks Justin, that does help. Do you have to exchange your longblocks? I'm just pondering ideas on what I might do. I haven't done anything since I spoke to you on the phone the other day,but things will start happening soon once I get a couple things lined out.
Thanks Mike
