Talking Help me spend some money... please

OK, lets say I purchase the complete bottom end kit from Sal and purchase either the JDM cam kit or a cowler cam kit.

What else is needed to have a completely killer motor?

I am sticking with the eaton, how much boost would I be able to push through it?

What should I do about the heads, since I guess I would have to still worry about plugs launching?

I am also interested in long tubes.

No nitrous.

Can I stick with the stock tranny?

What kind of horsepower am I looking at here?

I want to stay below $10,000!

I am not doing the work myself.

I have read a zillion posts and I am somewhat confused on the whole matter. Any suggestions and help would be appreciated.

you're doing just what I'd love to do if I had tha cash...
Build the bottom end, stage II cams. I'd keep stock heads for now and stock blower to save SOME money... I'd also get a built tranny with a 2400 stall and some Long tube headers...
That's my dream machine...

If you are going to stay with the stock blower, there is a company that ports them and they claim 30hp gain over stock. And it is under $500. Just some thing to consider. Can't remember the site right now but will post it later.

helping you spend money.

consider the following
www.apten-us.com

they will take your stock EATON and open the ports.
results? 40 rwhp!

you can maintain the reliability of the Eaton and increase it's performance.

also if you are running high boost, I would strongly consider an aftermarket heat enchanger and a power cooler!
)homemade power cooler under $175(
