do '99 Lightning have different front suspension than other years?
1999 Lightnings according to FORD have the following front suspension:
Twin short-and long-arm type suspension, coil springs, tubular gas-charged shock absorbers, 31mm solid stabilizer bar
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2000-present according to FORD have the following front suspension
Short- and long-arm type, coil springs, tubular gas-charged Bilstein shock absorbers, 31mm solid stabilizer bar
why did Ford advertise that the 1999 Lightning had twin short and long type suspension, when other years were not advertised as that?

I'm quite aware of the bilstein shocks.
Why does the '99 state that it has Twin short-and long-arm type suspension, coil springs, tubular gas-charged shock absorbers, 31mm solid stabilizer bar
others don't

Unless I am missing something the difference is the word "twin"
Looks to me like a marketing change - Who knows maybe they removed the word twin to make it fit the page of some new flyer...
I bet the suspensions are identical
