Which pulley should I go with: 4# or 6#?
Which pulley should I go with: 4# or 6#?
I had a 4# on my last L and am buying another L. I'm trying to decide if I should go with a 6# this time? Is it worth the worry? I've heard it only gives another 5ish HP and 10ish TQ but that the chances of blowing your motor are greater.
Any thoughts would be great!

Dude,
You're killing me...what did I tell you??? The Metco 4/6 interchangeable and a chip burned for the 6 pounder. That way you can run the 6 when you want to get crazy and switch to the 4 when you're just tooling around and the burn for the 6 will insure that the 4 pound is more than safe...A/F's, timing, etc. Besides, my super-cheap dyno connection is moving to Denver...checking to see if I can get a hook-up with the new owners of the dyno.

I'm thinking of going with one pulley and just leaving it, not worrying about a "race" and "street" tune. I'll probably make it to the track all of 2 times in a year!
So why is no one saying "Just go with an 8#"!!

I ran a 8# for about 10,000 miles on my "stock block , Daily Driven, long trips w/ Many 11 second passes L " and never threw anything, except for some whippin's on some ricers.
My recommendation is the 6#. I liked the 8# for the low end torque, but it did fall off on the top end (Too much heat. lost its efficiency)
