Dumb questions...

First of all...What does ttt mean?

Secondly...I bought a 4lb pulley and a dual program superchip and I'm getting a little detonation at WOT. Will changing out the plugs to NGK TR6's (have in my garage, just no nutters to dive in and change them) help with detonation?

Any help is appreciated...

From my readings on this board, it is not recommended to run the stock plugs with additional boost. I would definately take some time to put in the Tr6's which run a cooler then the stock ones. It isnt that difficult. There are alot of threads with helpful info on changing them. Go out and do the front passenger side. It should take you no time to do that one. And if you feel comfortable doing that one, all the others are the same except for the accessiblilty. But its definately doable. Do some research on this board first. Here are my tips

Have plenty of extensions,
Use some sort of tape to tape the extension to the sparkplug socket,
Go quarter turn to tighten coil packs, 1/8th turn for sparkplugs,

I would definately recommend changing the plugs.

As for it helping detonation, I'm not sure if that would fix it.

Were do you live? Different parts of the country have different gas. A chip that works fine on gas in one place may detonate in another.

If you area typically has bad gas, try and find a place to get better then average for your area. Also get your chipped reburned and make sure you let the tuner know the gas quality and mods.

Best bang for the buck are the NGK TR6 plugs. Should be able to get the at your local autoparts store. I had a similar problem with the same kind of mods and changing the plugs fixed it. YOU HAVE TO CHANGE TO PLUGS WITH THESE MODS DUDE. Hope this helps.

I'd recommend the TR6's also. If you don't mind paying more then the NGK's, search through old posts to look for the recommend Denso's for your mods. A lot of people swear by them.

Do a search and read through past posts, take your time and be carefull. Those 2 things will make spark plug changes much easier. It's more intimidation then it is hard.

This is true, but our plugs are a Mo Fo compared to what
most are use to, especially those back two

But like everyone said
IT MUST BE DONE
and remember DETONATION KILLS,
go extremly easy on it til the Detonation IS GONE

Here's a little 2 part movie and lots of great info by Chuck
