Question Anyone with an L & a supercab?

I'm just picking up a used supercab 4x4 5.4l for a winter truck and I was wondering if the L cat back can be adapted to it without too much hassle.
I am looking to do simple mods like a chip and FIPK or air force 1 intake. Has anyone done something similar?
I just need it to have a bit more power, We get very spoiled driving a lightning and most everything else seems to be a dissapointment.

BTW This cold air makes the L rock.

I've seen the Lightning exhaust installed on other 5.4 F150's extended cabs. Looks like a factory setup when done.

I know a guy with a Lightning catback, JLP Chip, and intake on a 5.4 ext. cab and he dropped well over a second off his 1/4 mile time. I can't remember the exact time but it was a very low 15 sec truck w/ those mods.

Thanks for the reply.

I thought that when I change the exhaust on the L, I could just reuse the L cat-back on the 4x4. There is no sense in just throwing it away. Do you know if it took a lot of fab work to make it fit?

As for the chip & intake (on the 4x4) anyone have any suggestions?

I'm not looking to turn it into a L just make it a little more fun.

Hmmm a 4x4 with an L drivetrain.. Evil thoughts
