Someone please look at my plugs for me?
Someone please look at my plugs for me?
I successfully checked out all my spark plugs tonight for the first time, after 19,000 miles. It only took me 2 hours, thanks to all of you guys; I appreciate all the help! They looked pretty good to me, I attached a couple pictures to see what you all think. Thanks...

Why does Ford use those plugs then? I would think they are the best for a stock lightning...? If there are better plugs then why doesn't Ford use them? Just wondering....

It's extremly hard to read plugs without looking at them
with your own eye's
They seem very clean THATS GREAT
Meaning no carbon build up, no oil getting by the rings
and drying on them, etc... (but something got on that one ???)
If any have little white spots on them (I think I see some)
It could have had some detonation at one time or another
Overall they seem very good but I'd recommend a colder plug

Thanks guys, the truck is still stock, if I get done with all my other stuff this weekend, I'll be putting my 3# pulley on. (With stock plugs and no chip for now...the Ford warranty Gestapo has me skeered!)

Dude, you HAVE TO change your plugs. I tried the stock ones with a pulley and they were not able to handle the extra boost. Spend the 10 bucks, it'll be worth it, trust me.
