Race Fuel

The 100 Octane Leaded Race fuel, does anyone suggest an additive like Marvel, or is the lead enough lubricant in the engine?

Is the gas even safe to use in our unleaded engines?

Unless you only use it one or 2 times, steer clear of the leaded gas. It'll mess with your O2 sensors.

Try to find some Toluene at a hardware store. There's some info if you search for it...

Why not use VP MOTORSPORT 103?

OK, just got off the phone with one of our supporting tuners here and said our engines would run fine. The catalytic converters will be damaged, but not the sensors. Since I'll be doing the high flows shortly, race gas would be much cheaper and more convient than the Tolulene additive.
