I've been lurking on these boards just about every day for about 4 years now (even before I registered). So long that I feel like part of a family, but I've been pretty much silent because I don't own a Lightning yet(I know, it's sad... my girlfriend thinks I need haha). I've seen the likes of guys like Spiro the Greek come and go and learned a LOT about these trucks... with the intentions of getting one of course. I finally have a job that can make this dream come true (financially) and want to buy a Sonic Blue L this spring. I spoke with a salesman at my nearest SVT dealer (Saskatoon) and they only have 1 DSG and 2 black L's left, 2003's can no longer be ordered and he said that 2004's wouldn't be arriving until late next summer (does he know what he's talking about???). Does anyone know of any Sonic Blue's sitting on dealer lots anywhere in the country? Also maybe a dealer that isn't going to try to screw a guy over? Thanks fellow canucks!

 

You could give Rose City Ford in Windsor(ON) a call or maybe one of the guys from Windsor on the board could take a look for you.

The local dealer here in Ottawa has 2 silvers, 2 lacks, one DSG and 2 red ones (one red one has a sold dign on it). Sorry no Blue ones.

Not sure when the 2004's are hitting the streets but I thought they already did or it was gonna be very soon at least. I would say spring by the latest but I cant say for sure.

The scray thing is Campbell ford here in ottawa has them for a couple hundred dollars cheaper then that used one.

Dealers around town have some used ones for more then new ones as well. Campbell cant get rid of their 2003's so they are giving them away

 

Thanks for the replies guys! I'll be checking out Campbell Ford for sure. I might call the Saskatoon dealer again and ask to speak with a different salesman, I didn't think it would take until late next summer to get an '04 in!!

NTIMD8 - Thanks for the link, I searched their inventory and it's not listing any L's but maybe it's not updated. I'll have my friend look into it anyways.
