Rear Diff lube/oil

Ok guys need some help. I did a search and nothing came up. I need to know what type of oil/lube to replace the stuff thats in there. Im fixing a leaking axle seal.

Any recomendations on what brand/type to use, and where to get it (autozone, pepboys, etc)

The fastest response wins a hefty handshake. Since i want to get this done before the weekend while i have access to a lift.

Thanks in advance!

Mike

the axle says 75-140 synthetic and some friction modifier.
the manual says 80-90 and some ford friction modifier.
I used mobil 1 75-90 synthetic and a tube of friction modifier.

AutoZone sells 75-140 synthetic for around $13 a container
Ford sells motrcraft stuff for around $20. Mobil 1 is around $7-8 I think.
