Intercooler fans with shroud.

Just trying to see if there is any interest in this product. It will fit the Lightnings and Harleys. This is not a solicitation for a group buy. This is a poll to see if enough people are interested to maybe get a group buy going. Clickiing on the link below will not work. Cut and paste it to to your address bar.

In case it helps others out, I had to copy/paste the link, just clicking on it didn't work for me.

Was going to make my own for 1/4 as much...

I'm no welder but I could easily fabricate something similar from parts at the local Ace Hardware/Home Depot... I can find fans for ~$30/ea, then the rest of the parts are cheap.

linky no worky.

A member of the Michigan Lightning Club made one out of aluminum. and it kicked a$$.

He used a 10" fan that blew the air Down toward the ground.
the fan was perpendicular to the inner cooler radiator.
He used the aluminum to created an airtight fit around the fan and inner cooler.
the Fan sucked air throough the inner cooler radiator and blew it to the ground!

$30 for "Spal" brand fans? I don't think so. Anyway, not everybody is as handy as you. Some people just want to buy it and bolt it on knowing that it will work flawlessly. Besides this is not a bashing post. It is meant to see how many peopl would be interested in it. Please keep your opinions about how much you could build it for to yourself. Thank you.

You asked if I was interested. My long-winded answer was NO.

When you moderate the posts, you can delete that portion of my message ...until then, my opinion and comments will remain and were relevant to the discussion thread you opened.

Not trying to be a *****, just giving others ideas

My thinking was that unless the fans are on, air flow will be severly disrupted with the shroud. So I decided to mount twin fans without the shroud. That way I have the best of both worlds
