Ford Service DVDs - Help.

I had bid on some ford service DVDs from ebay for $55. I just got an email today from the seller. He said that when ford wrote the DVDs, they made it so that they stop working after two months. He said he was still able to use them by setting his clock back on the comp. He said he will sell them to me for 40 plus 5 shipping and that if for some reason they dont work even after i set the clock back, hell refund me 40 and pay for return shipping. Should I do it?

The latest versions do have an expiry date on them. That's why
the older versions are more better. <grin>

55 is a awful high price though ... Ask you service advisor if
he has any older ones around ...

Mine's a version 4 (2000-2004 service manual CD)
