Shed a little light if you can....even vendors too

Guys, i've had my L for a month now. I've read this forum pretty religiously since i got the truck and am in the process of adding all the regular bolt on mods, but i'm at a bit of a crossroad. What's the next big HP/TRQ step AFTER these bolt ons. NOS, a built motor, just rods, a SC upgrade, which one, in which order???. I use my L on a daily basis (I'm even going to TRY and drive it this winter), but i want to keep building on what i have, without the real treat of blowing my motor....any insight on where to go after the pulleys and chips....thanks for you help in advance

You've just about used up the good bang for the buck mods. You could switch to a 6# lower for a few more HP but I wouldn't.

The next big step would be a blower swap IMHO. There are several to choose from... Kenne Belle, Works 140, JDM's new Magnum Powers blower. Any way you cut it, you're looking at bolting on a solid 50 HP with the same pulley size you're running now, or more if you crank up the boost with smaller pullies.

There are some small mods left like an electric fan (<10HP gain) and a 4.10 gear (quicker off the line). I just think the blower swap is the next logical way to go if you want the best bang for the buck power increase.

I'd go electric fan with COrba R water pump.
traction bars help a TON.

BIG MODS:

You can get the aftermarker blower but eventually you'll need a bottom end.

Nos? I wouldn't do it unless the bottom end is built.

there's my 2 cents

Medco 4# pulley, SuperChips Flip Chip (Street/Race), JDM Cool Air Kit (modified with PSP FAST Air Kit), JDM Line Mod Valve/Deeper Trans Pan, JDM Oil Breather Cap, Boost Bypass

Right now you have the current chip/filter/pulley basic package along with some tranny upgrades.

Your next steps can be as gradual or drastic as you want.

If you want to keep things to bolt ons, the next steps would be an efan, ported upper intake, phenolic spacer, heat exchanger, long tubes and catback, throttle body, upper pulley, etc...

Or you can get a built motor nitrous and KB.

With a 4lb pulley you can still safely use a 50hp shot of nitrous according to Sal, so you may want to explore that option.

If your planning on driving your truck this winter in Ct, I think your "next" mod should be some snow tires mounted on steel rims

I live in Fairfield (by the shore) and my commute is 95S to Rye, NY (by the shore) so there is very little snow (typically)....I'm hoping since last year was so bad that this year will be okay....i'm hoping....

I hear ya on the repeat of last winter. Iam in Joisey now. I lived in Niantic for a year while working the Milestone III project. Had a blast that summer and winter

Ask that guy that said "nough said",if he meant "nuff said". Also if that nitrous monster was able to repeat that winning run
