Thumbs up I got to meet dealerjim

I met dealerjim at the track Thursday night-seems like a nice guy. His truck is super sharp and the aftermarket wheels with the blue looks awesome! I really like the way the back of his truck looks-thats the view I had while going down the track. My Chebby ran its best ever at 12.41 but I was about 100 hp short. I had fun anyway and it was cool to see him run.

I've got a TBLUE as well but everytime i see him post that picture of his truck i am envious. It is truly awesome. The Blaster wheels are phenominal! I believe he is also running a KB but don't know if he has a stock or built block.

Thanks guys. It was nice meeting you Thursday night. During our run when my truck shifted into third gear I must have hit an oily spot on the track because the *** end of my truck slid about 3 feet sideways and I had to lift for a second. Man that scared the hell out of me. All I could picture was me losing control and puting us both into the wall. You have an awesome set up there and with a little more tuning you'll have an 11 second Chevy. Your truck is gonna surprise alot of people.

And to think I was thinking "Man, what a nice guy-he lifted just so it wouldn't look so bad" Then I thougt no, he is sandbagging to go slower than 11.99. About the last 50 miles of my drive home was in the rain on the ET Streets-NOT fun!

I bet. I haven't had to drive in the rain on slicks yet. "knock on wood" I'm sure it'll get me sooner or later though.
