How Far Can I go?
How Far Can I go?
Can some of you guys tell me just how far i can go modifying my engine before i jeopordize my rods, etc. I'm running at 10 psi boost right now with my mods....at what point should i start thinking about upgrading the motor's internals
I plan on keeping the 4 lb lower, but i am going to replace the upper blower (2.80) and the idler pulleys also, long tube headers and a catback, water pump, 95 MM MAF and an electric fan kit.....what about then. you see, i'm no mechanic, so i don't really know where my limitations are (so if you have some ideas or know where i can get information that would be great)

I concur with SVT F150, your stock maf is fine. Many of my L buddys (the Zoo Crew) run 8# pulleys on stock motors with no problems, but they all do have LTs and properly tuned chips by Willie Figeroa or JDM...
