Question about JDM chip...
I had the thing running fine until last night I went to the track and took the chip out to run stock. Truck hasn't started with chip since. My PCM is so clean I can eat off of it! (I have cleaned these before).
My chip wants to "wobble" on the PCM ie loose. Anyone else with a JDM chip experiencing this?
Thanks

Pull the computer away (1/2 inch) from the bracket than try reinstaling the chip. It sounds like the chip is hitting the bracket, you might need to flatten the bracket by where the chip go in.
Disconnect the battery for a few minutes.

Flatten the PCM bracket around the hole where the chip sits?
I have my keys out of the ignition, then unhook neg. terminal, unhook PCM, pull box, install chip, tape it down, reinstall PCM, rehook battery, then turn ignition on and let the gauges max and come back down and then try to start it....right?

I have a JDM chip (installed two weeks ago). No problems here....but here's the installation directions from JDM if you don't have them....did you snip the bracket and then bend it back to allow the chip to sit flat on the PCM??
