I feel bad telling the times but if you can talk the smack than you got to pay the price.

Don and I ran each other tonight in our daily drivers.

Don in his new SVT Focus and me in my Denali pickup, all-wheel-drive, and all-wheel steering vs. front wheel drive, so I had the edge out of the hole.

I ran an 15.254 at 88.35 and the Don man ran a 16.822 at 83.99 needless to say he got his *** handed to him and now he owes me dinner. haha

In his defense it was his first time at the track with this car and the first time at a track with a standard shift. He needs some practice and I am sure he can do a lot better.
He called me out so I had to put him in his place, haha
Hey Don, how did my tail lights look the whole way down the track?? lol

All in fun buddy, If you are good I will give you a rematch after you have had some practice and you put a few more mods on that bad boy..

Yup I got my A$$ wooped

I got myself a little confused at the line, trying to figure out how to get the revs up, hold the clutch in, and the brake at the same time. Then when I launched it I allmost stalled the car. To make things worse I over reved it in first gear. Once I got it into 2nd I was catching up, but by that time it was to late.

Well I let you off the hook this time, but don't get to comfortable, it won't be so easy next time. Now that I know what not to do, I am going to be practicing.

You might have to do a little street racing to get used to the clutch. Maybe start hanging out with some ricers or something and get one of those BIG-*** tachs w/ a shift light. HEHE
